Powerful Solar Storm Could Shut Down U.S. for Months

A new study from the National Academy of Sciences outlines grim possibilities on Earth for a worst-case scenario solar storm.

Damage to power grids and other communications systems could be catastrophic, the scientists conclude, with effects leading to a potential loss of governmental control of the situation.

The prediction is based in part on a major solar storm in 1859 that caused telegraph wires to short out in the United States and Europe, igniting widespread fires.

It was perhaps the worst in the past 200 years, according to the new study, and with the advent of modern power grids and satellites, much more is at risk.

"A contemporary repetition of the [1859] event would cause significantly more extensive (and possibly catastrophic) social and economic disruptions," the researchers conclude.

'Command and control might be lost'

When the sun is in the active phase of its 11-year cycle, it can unleash powerful magnetic storms that disable satellites, threaten astronaut safety, and even disrupt communication systems on Earth.

The worst storms can knock out power grids by inducing currents that melt transformers.

Modern power grids are so interconnected that a big space storm — the type expected to occur about once a century — could cause a cascade of failures that would sweep across the United States, cutting power to 130 million people or more in this country alone, the new report concludes.

Such widespread power outages, though expected to be a rare possibility, would affect other vital systems.

Outages could take months to fix, the researchers say. Banks might close, and trade with other countries might halt.

"Emergency services would be strained, and command and control might be lost," write the researchers, led by Daniel Baker, director of the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

"Whether it is terrestrial catastrophes or extreme space weather incidents, the results can be devastating to modern societies that depend in a myriad of ways on advanced technological systems," Baker said in a statement released with the report.

Stormy past

Solar storms have had significant effects in modern time:

— In 1989, the sun unleashed a tempest that knocked out power to all of Quebec, Canada.

— A remarkable 2003 rampage included 10 major solar flares over a two-week period, knocking out two Earth-orbiting satellites and crippling an instrument aboard a Mars orbiter.

"Obviously, the sun is Earth's life blood," said Richard Fisher, director of the Heliophysics division at NASA. "To mitigate possible public safety issues, it is vital that we better understand extreme space weather events caused by the sun's activity."

"Space weather can produce solar storm electromagnetic fields that induce extreme currents in wires, disrupting power lines, causing wide-spread blackouts and affecting communication cables that support the Internet," the report states. "Severe space weather also produces solar energetic particles and the dislocation of the Earth's radiation belts, which can damage satellites used for commercial communications, global positioning and weather forecasting."

Rush to prepare

The race is on for better forecasting abilities, as the next peak in solar activity is expected to come around 2012.

While the sun is in a lull now, activity can flare up at any moment, and severe space weather — how severe, nobody knows — will ramp up a year or two before the peak.

Some scientists expect the next peak to bring more severe events than other recent peaks.

"A catastrophic failure of commercial and government infrastructure in space and on the ground can be mitigated through raising public awareness, improving vulnerable infrastructure and developing advanced forecasting capabilities," the report states. "Without preventive actions or plans, the trend of increased dependency on modern space-weather sensitive assets could make society more vulnerable in the future."

The report was commissioned and funded by NASA. Experts from around the world in industry, government and academia participated. It was released this week.

THE GOAT FARMERS OF THE WEST AND OF THE UNITED STATES

Over the last several months the Holy Spirit kept quickening me to write about the goat farmers of the west.  I was clueless about what a goat farmer is, and the Holy Spirit said, “I will help you”. Here is what I was shown.

Let the message begin!

I was transported into a giant church parking lot and I stood there looking around and I saw hundreds of cars.  My attention was drawn to the Great Warrior King Jesus, who said “Look and behold!”  I looked and I noticed that all the cars were brand new and there was not a ragged car in the whole parking lot.

I noticed there were crowds of people going into this mega church. I saw that all the women were dressed in the finest apparel with the finest jewelry and expensive hand bags and the smell of fine perfume.  As we walked towards the entrance of the church I noticed all the men were wearing expensive suits and they were reeking of the finest colognes.  I noticed on the outside they all looked clean, trim and proper and without a care in the world.

As we approached the front door of this huge mega church I also noticed there were gallows blocks as far as the eyes could see.  There I saw sheep hanging two feet off the ground strung up by their hind quarters.  They had bibles tucked under their front legs.  They looked like they were paralyzed and could not move. They were strung up as though they were outcasts and were about to be slaughtered.

I found it a very strange and bizarre sight to behold. Image walking into a mega church and seeing sheep hanging on gallows blocks two feet off the ground!  As the people went into the church and got seated, the auditorium filled up. Then, the Great Warrior King Jesus said to me, “Look and behold, and pay strict attention to what you are about to see.”  Most of the things He was showing me and telling me I have known for many years, but brother what I saw in this vision was unbelievable!

This goes with the writings in the Book of Ezekiel.

I sat down in a front row seat and the Pastor came up and called the congregation to order. They began the worship with a rock and roll band that was a big entertainment type band. This band was to entertain the hundreds of people who had come into the church.  The Holy Spirit said “Look and pay close attention to what I am about to show you.”  As I looked at this rock and roll band and the so called choir and the worshipers, I noticed that there was a giant golden calf on the stage.

I said “Father I know that the golden calf was worshiped in Egypt. And I know that the Hebrews built a golden calf while they were waiting for Moses to come down with the Ten Commandments because they had grown impatient and decided to build their own god that they could see, touch and worship.” And He said to me “this is all entertainment and spectacle.” He said “They do not care about me or my teachings, it is all entertainment.”  He said “Ninety-nine percent of the worshiping that you see with this rock and roll band and with the golden calf is sin in my eyes!”

I continued to listen and pay attention to what was going on around me.  After they hyped the people up with their worship, I noticed that not one song pertained to the cleansing blood of Christ Jesus for the remission of sin and for healing and deliverance.  The worship was for entertainment and they deleted every song that pertained to the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ.  The reason is because they are in gross sin and the thought of the blood of Jesus makes them cringe. Without hearing of the blood of Jesus they would not be made to think of their sin.

Then the Father said “These are nothing but dead symbols, they do not impress me at all.”

I continued to look on as God the Father let me see other things.  The Pastor got up and read a few announcements and told how sweet everything is and how well everything is going. He spoke about the building funds and all that the church was doing. 

Then immediately in the spirit realm all the people in the church, except for a few, took on the appearance of goats.  I looked up at the Pastor and the strangest thing took place right before my eyes.  I saw him transform into a goat!  What amazed me was he had the legs of a goat, the chest of a man, and the arms of a man, but his head looked like the head of a goat with huge horns.  It blew my mind!  I stared at this in amazement and asked the Father “Lord, what is this?” He said, “This is a goat farmer. I will tell you more about him later.”

As I turned around and looked at all the people in the church, except for a few, I noticed I was surrounded by goats. The people’s heads were that of a goat!  I was amazed and said “How is this?”  He said “Let me explain something to you.  The goat farmers never preach on gross sin or wickedness. They never preach or talk about eternal damnation. They preach prosperity gospel and never talk about going into the Garden of Gethsemane to be tested and broken. Most of what you see right now is a bunch of rebellious asses.”  I said “Lord, why am I here, for I already know this has been going on?”  He said “I want to show you first hand.” 

As I looked through the congregation they were all clapping and cheering. They were all very wealthy and were making some kind of confession of Jesus, but deep down inside they did not know Him, did not know the gifts of the Holy Spirit nor did they move in the gifts.  They knew nothing of the Holy Spirit.  Some prayed for their conscious’ sake, but for the most part they wanted their cake and to eat it too; they wanted prosperity.  They wanted and loved the things of the world.  The goat farmer never taught them nor trained them that if they wanted to be a disciple and wanted to follow after Jesus they would have to crucify their flesh. It is their flesh that gets them in trouble.  The flesh leads them astray; the flesh causes them to fall away.  This is what Satan prays upon, the flesh. 

The goat farmer pastor told the people/goats that God was going to bless everybody and told them to make sure they give their weekly tithe. He said to give ten percent of their weekly income and God would bless them ten fold. 

What amazed me was that the goat farmers are riding around in 60 and 70 thousand dollar cars, living in $700,000 to one million dollar homes, plus all the perks and per diems that go with it.  I was amazed at everything I was seeing!

The Father wanted me to watch the next part of it.  I looked and beheld the prophets of the church, and they were prophesying about the great by and by and how great everything was and how God was going to bless them, and how God was going to take care of them and do all these great things, and that they were all going to have great wealth and prosperity.

I was reminded of what Jesus says in scripture, “Woe to you when all men speak well of you, For so did their fathers to the false prophets.” (Luke 6:26)

These are the same goat false prophets who prophesy the delusions of their minds, never warning or prophesying to the people to repent of their sins or to repent of ancestral and generational sins. They NEVER tell the people to humble themselves and kneel and fall on their face before God All Mighty and be delivered and set free.  This is never taught in the church. 

The goat farmer Pastor then gave a lukewarm, watered down message to the congregation.  In my opinion he blew smoke up their butts and made them feel good! He never mentioned repentance of gross sin, sexual morality, witchcraft, sorcery, idolatry, pride, hatred, bitterness, envy, strife, lust, fornication, adultery.  Year after year the goat farmer never once talked about these things.  The goat farmer never talks about dividing the year up into four quarters. Three months of teaching of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, three months of teaching of exorcism, demons and spiritual warfare, and three months on evangelism, three months on the holiness and the reverence of God. It is a free for all in the churches today!  Everybody in this church did what seemed right in their own eyes and God’s red hot anger burned at them, but they were too far gone to realize they had been turned over to a reprobate mind.

Scripture says in 2 Th 2:11 “God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie.” Scripture also says inIsa 66:4 "So will I choose their delusions, And bring their fears on them; Because, when I called, no one answered, When I spoke they did not hear; But they did evil before My eyes, And chose that in which I do not delight."

God is now sending a lie and they believe it.  It is not the devil; it is God sending it because they have no love of the truth. 

The prophet Ezekiel speaks of why God really destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Yes God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because they were living in sin but Sodom's prosperity had caused them to grow prideful and neglect the poor and needy. They would do nothing but feed their own flesh, and because of this God destroyed them.

Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and needy. (Ezekiel 16:49)

Most goat church people don’t understand this. We must help the elderly; help the poor, the down and out and the outcasts.  God has once again been provoked into red hot anger.  In the days to come, Russian T-9 tanks are going to level every church in the United States and this will be God’s justice because the church of the west has become so satanically and demonically corrupt that God’s red hot anger is burning at them and they are too stupid to realize it.

After this I went outside and there I saw the sheep hanging on the gallows blocks.  I approached the sheep and started talking to them and I asked “Why have you been strung up by your hind quarters?”  “Why are you hanging upside down here?”  One sheep said, “I tried to warn the Pastor that the Satanists infiltrated the church and have set up shop here. I was told it was a bunch of nonsense and he told me not to talk such foolishness again and to get out and don’t come back to this church speaking that type of nonsense.” 

I talked to another sheep and he said, “I tried to warn the congregation to repent of their sins and humble themselves and bow down like a bent reed and repent of their idolatries and witchcraft. I was thrown out and told to shut up and that I was a heretic”. 

I spoke to another sheep that is a prophet and asked “Why are you strung up here?” He said, “Because I kept telling the pastor that the full and complete day of darkness is coming upon the world.  I told the pastor that he needed to call the whole congregation to repentance and to be broken and contrite before the Lord because the great day of darkness is coming upon the earth. He told me to shut up that they didn’t want any doomsday prophets in their church.”

I went down the line talking to the strung up sheep and heard the horror stories of how they were abused and kicked out and how some of the sheep asked for humanitarian aid and groceries.  The shepherds, these goat farmers, said “We don’t have enough money so we can’t help you.”  Yet it is amazing that they can drive around in a 60,000 dollar car and live in a million dollar home with all the perks and per diems and couldn’t take $150 to $200 out of his pocket to give to one of his congregational member’s so they could get some groceries.

God’s red hot anger is burning at these shepherd’s and the leaders of HIS flock.  Little do they realize that the scripture will soon be fulfilled, for on that day God will separate the sheep from the goats.  (Mat 25:32-33)

There are many true little sheep and many have done everything in their power with the Holy Spirit to warn the goats not to go the way they are going. But the goats refuse to listen so these sheep have become outcasts.

I encourage you to remember what is written in the Book of Revelation chapter 18:4, come out of her my people and do not participate in her sin.

If you have become an outcast in your church because you have tried to warn of gross sin and are doing the Word of God the Father; or because you don’t have the fine apparel or a bunch of money and a nice car and a nice home, be encouraged! Your reward is going to be great!  I encourage you sheep to keep on doing that which Jesus has told you to do; feed the poor, help the homeless, be a friend to the friendless, love the unlovable, and seek God’s face night and day, and be found having faith when He returns.  You have the greatest gift, the power of the Holy Spirit!

Dreamed about a woman that was dead floating in a pool.

I dreamed that some woman came to me and told me I had to come and get the body. She led me into a room where there was a small swimming pool. It was one of those small aboveground kids pools that was about 3 feet deep. When I entered in, it was a morbid scene and everyone was avoiding looking towards the pool. There was a woman floating face up and was extremely bloated and obviously had been in the pool for a long time. I pulled her to the edge of the pool and dragged her out onto the ground. Everyone had left the room because they did not see the scene or at least that's what I thought. I decided that this wasn't good enough that she didn't have to die. I began commanding her to come back to life and I started praying very loudly and fervently. Slowly, little by little, as I kept shouting “I command you in the name of Jesus to rise from the dead” she began to change. At first a little bit of color started coming back in her face and then the swelling seemed to be receding. In no time at all she coughed and began to breathe. I was a little bit shocked and extremely happy. As I went to hug her she began to change into a little girl. When I pulled back she looked to be about three years old and I began to weep openly and even started sobbing at this incredible miracle of God's love.

I then awoke.

Dreamt I was standing in Toronto.  It was at night and seemed very dark and gloomy.  I saw Small River in front of me in and a tree next to it.  Up on top of the hill to my right I saw a church and it was packed to capacity.  To the left of the Church there appeared to be a golf course.  I was just about to cross the river and go up to the church when I heard a giant explosion.  For some reason I was able to see clearly all the way to Niagara Falls and I saw and heard a giant earthquake.  It scared me to the core.  I saw the Niagara Falls collapse and the water from Lake Erie came pouring down flooding Lake Ontario then Toronto.  The wall of water was at least 40 stories high was headed straight at me, I knew there was no hope.  I jumped quickly across the small river and ran up to the church.  As I put my hand on the door handle I realized it was already too late and the water was right there.

A few months after this dream the church I was attending acquired a new building.  When I saw the building for the first time I realized it was the one in this dream and even the golf course was adjacent.

Here's an amazing revelation.  My friend Carol told me that back in 1988 after having fasted for 24 days she was driving down a road about 20 miles south of St. Louis which runs alongside the New Madrid Fault line.  She was "Listening to Christian radio and lost signal while changing channels as I entered the New Madridtown.  Just the day before an earthquake had been warned of there and disc jockeys were making fun of the hospitals that had evacuated intensive care patients to hospitals for 100-150 miles around.  I said, 'Lord, listen to them laugh and make fun of this.'

"The Lord spoke to me audibly right there.  Virtually word for word what Matthew 24:37,38 says: 'As in the days of Noah, they were drinking, marrying, giving in marriage, and partying, and I sent My flood, and so shall I send My quake, for no man or instruments will pick up My quake.'  It was audible and He answered me instantly.

"The prophetic word had come in at a worship New Year's service in 1978 in Minneapolis, MN.  That the Lord was going to bring an earthquake that will split the U.S. in half like from Chicago to New Orleans, at least 50 miles wide.  Towns and hospitals will fall into the big dark hole.  Then it was confirmed by my friend and daughter's youth pastor at a prophetic service.  During the break, I told her what the Lord had spoken to me in 1988 and she said, 'Carol, that was the year my husband and I got married, and I was having a devotional one evening and the Lord showed me in a vision the earth breaking open from like Canada to New Orleans.'  We just stared at each other for we didn't know each other when these things came forth.  She said, 'Carol, it was so horrific I screamed!'"

In further talking with Carol I realized she has not totally understood the meaning of that verse in connection with those words except that it was speaking prophetically about the last days.  I told her that when it says in the verse "The DAY that Noah entered the Ark" that was prophetically when the DAY of the LORD would begin in our future! Carol was being told by revelation a Major event that will happen on the DAY of the Lord.

I woke up suddenly, sat straight up in bed and saw this statement:  UNITED STATES DIVIDED BY MASSIVE EARTHQUAKE!   This repeated 3 times in about 10 seconds.  Whether it was a dream or a vision I do not know for I have had many experiences like this lately.

CHEAP GRACE from Dietrich Bonhoeffer's book THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP

THE CHEAP GRACE MOVEMENT HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE MOST DAMAGING FALSE DOCTRINES OF OUR TIME.

THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP is a book by the German Theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer, considered a classic of Christian thought. The original German title is simply Nachfolge (Discipleship). It is centred around an exposition of the Sermon on the Mount, in which Bonhoeffer spells out what he believes it means to follow Christ. It was first published in 1937, when the rise of the Nazi regime was underway in Germany and against this background that Bonhoeffer's theology of costly discipleship developed, which ultimately led to his death.

One of the most quoted parts of the book deals with the distinction which Bonhoeffer makes between "cheap" and "costly" grace. But what is "cheap" grace? In Bonhoeffer's words:

"cheap grace is the preaching of forgiveness without requiring repentance, baptism without church discipline. Communion without confession. Cheap grace is grace without discipleship, grace without the cross, grace without Jesus Christ."

Or, even more clearly, it is to hear the gospel preached as follows: "Of course you have sinned, but now everything is forgiven, so you can stay as you are and enjoy the consolations of forgiveness." The main defect of such a proclamation is that it contains no demand for discipleship. In contrast to this is costly grace:

"costly grace confronts us as a gracious call to follow Jesus, it comes as a word of forgiveness to the broken spirit and the contrite heart. It is costly because it compels a man to submit to the yoke of Christ and follow him; it is grace because Jesus says: "My yoke is easy and my burden is light." "

Bonhoeffer argues that as Christianity spread, the Church became more "secularised", accommodating the demands of obedience to Jesus to the requirements of society. In this way, "the world was Christianised, and grace became its common property." But the hazard of this was that thegospel was cheapened, and obedience to the living Christ was gradually lost beneath formula and ritual, so that in the end, grace could literally be sold for monetary gain.

But all the time, within the church, there had been a living protest against this process: the monastic movement. This served as a "place where the older vision was kept alive." Unfortunately, "monasticism was represented as an individual achievement which the mass of the laity could not be expected to emulate"; the commandments of Jesus were limited to "a restricted group of specialists" and a double standard arose: "a maximum and a minimum standard of church obedience." Why was this dangerous? Bonhoeffer points out that whenever the church was accused of being too worldly, it could always point to monasticism as "the opportunity of a higher standard within the fold - and thus justify the other possibility of a lower standard for others." So the monastic movement, instead of serving as a pointer for all Christians, became a justification for the status quo.

Bonhoeffer remarks how this was rectified by Luther at the Reformation, when he brought Christianity "out of the cloister". However, he thinks that subsequent generations have again cheapened the preaching of the forgiveness of sins, and this has seriously weakened the church: "The price we are having to pay today in the shape of the collapse of the organised church is only the inevitable consequence of our policy of making grace available to all at too low a cost. We gave away the word and sacraments wholesale, we baptised, confirmed, and absolved a whole nation without condition. Our humanitarian sentiment made us give that which was holy to the scornful and unbelieving... But the call to follow Jesus in the narrow way was hardly ever heard."

HOW to MEET THE FATHER and walk in the kingdom-by EJ Ouellette

I’ve been asked this question many times over the years. Unfortunately I never had much chance to give a full answer. The only answer I gave was “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God”

      I was once in a certain part of heaven walking with the Father where all the children were. The children in that place were shocked when they saw me and exclaimed, “No one from down there has ever come this far before” To which I responded with tears. I knew what they were saying is that God though my heart was clean enough to go to meet with the children that he protected. He protected them from worldliness and didn’t want them exposed by anyone from earth. Of course this is nothing for me to brag about as He prepared me for many years first. Afterwards he told me to “Tell my people I want to be found by them”. I have told this story many times over the years but still last night I could sleep as I thought that maybe others haven’t heard or need to be reminded of this. I believe it’s possible for anyone to meet the Father if they followed these rules that actually Jesus laid down during his earthly ministry. God speaks to me all the time “Blessed are the pure in Heart for they shall see God” To see God your heart must be pure and these are the keys to having a pure heart.

1: You need to pursue God with all of your heart. For me that meant staying home fasting and praying over more than a year. During this time he exposed many shortcomings in me and showed me many great revelations.  This is a time of cleansing from all your worldly philosophy that has been ingrained in you since birth. You may not recognize your shortcomings but He certainly does.

2: GOD must be more important than even your own family.

3: You must surrender all your worldly belongings to God.

 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

4: You cannot hold any grudges or bitterness towards anyone (Un-forgiveness)

This of course also applies to things like war. It is impossible to be someone who supports any kind of retaliation to enter in. After all the law of God is written on your hearts and it would be impossible to be a Christian and to kill someone. Even heathen police officers will often quit their jobs after killing a criminal in the line of duty, as they are unable to deal with the trauma of taking another life, During the Viet Nam war I heard that many of the troops shot above the enemies heads because they couldn’t kill someone.

Here Jesus made it clear how we are supposed to act with our enemies.

Remember the Lord now is your defender not the armies of men. That is the way of the Satan and his kingdom.

5: You must be willing to lay down your life in exchange for another even your enemy. God has tested me several times in this area. This of course is the exact opposite of some peoples thinking. (Even people claiming to be Christians)

6:  Suffer the children. If there is something I’ve learned from the Character of God over the years is that the most precious thing to him are the children. If you have a problem with children you will have a problem with God. It most cases you might require healing first before you can go any further.

7: Humility is essential. Remember Satan got kicked out of heaven because of his pride. I have found many people in ministry who were self-seeking narcissists who only goal was to elevate themselves. Over the centuries many Christian nations have been released into the hands of Satan because of pride and some no even longer exist today.

The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector

I dreamed I was at the house of my youth. I was in the backyard and it was dusk. There was a mature beige horse standing in the yard. He used his nose to motion to me to get on his back. He pushed several times at me. He had no bridle or saddle. I knew this horse well from other dreams and he was not a normal horse. I knew he could think and reason, not like an animal but more human or angelic.

When I awoke I felt it was time for the judgments on the church.

US INVADES IRAQ. dream OCT27-2001

Whats interesting about this dream is that the US invaded Iraq right after I had this dream. 

Dream Oct 27 2001:

Dreamt I was in some Middle Eastern country like Iraq. It looked like a desert and everywhere I looked people were laying down sobbing and praying. There were clearly distraught beyond anything I had ever seen before. It made me feel guilty for all the trials I was going through. Obviously these people were in far worse shape. I came up to a man that was crying his eyes out on his knees. In the background I saw children running by not understanding what was going on. This man immediately took me back when he spoke. He had a wonderful spirit and I was immediately moved by his honesty and dedication to God that I had never seen in Canada before. He said to me “Please pray for us, the Americans are coming to kill us and we did nothing wrong”. Bombs began to drop in the background and children were killed right in front of my eyes. I could immediately see the corruption that had initiated this attack on the towers was from within the US in order to steal away the land from the wonderful people. I was incredibly disgusted with the demonic corporate entity called America and I could see Gods anger was beyond anything I had ever witnessed before. I knew that Gods hand was with these Middle Eastern people and that he was going to crush their enemies.

By signing into law the NDAA, the SUPER VILLAIN president OBAMA has awarded the military extraordinary powers to detain US citizens without trial

President Barack Obama rang in the New Year by signing the NDAA law with its provision allowing him to indefinitely detain citizens. It was a symbolic moment, to say the least. With Americans distracted with drinking and celebrating, Obama signed one of the greatest rollbacks of civil liberties in the history of our country … and citizens partied in unwitting bliss into the New Year.

Ironically, in addition to breaking his promise not to sign the law, Obama broke his promise on signing statements and attached a statement that he really does not want to detain citizens indefinitely (see the text of the statement here).

Obama insisted that he signed the bill simply to keep funding for the troops. It was a continuation of the dishonest treatment of the issue by the White House since the law first came to light. As discussed earlier, the White House told citizens that the president would not sign the NDAA because of the provision. That spin ended after sponsor Senator Carl Levin (Democrat, Michigan) went to the floor and disclosed that it was the White House and insisted that there be no exception for citizens in the indefinite detention provision.

The latest claim is even more insulting. You do not "support our troops" by denying the principles for which they are fighting. They are not fighting to consolidate authoritarian powers in the president. The "American way of life" is defined by our constitution and specifically the bill of rights. Moreover, the insistence that you do not intend to use authoritarian powers does not alter the fact that you just signed an authoritarian measure. It is not the use but the right to use such powers that defines authoritarian systems.

The almost complete failure of the mainstream media to cover this issue is shocking. Many reporters have bought into the spin of the Obama administration as they did the spin over torture by the Bush administration. Even today, reporters refuse to call waterboarding torture despite the long line of cases and experts defining waterboarding as torture for decades.

On the NDAA, reporters continue to mouth the claim that this law only codifies what is already the law. That is not true. The administration has fought any challenges to indefinite detention to prevent a true court review. Moreover, most experts agree that such indefinite detention of citizens violates the constitution.

There are also those who continue the longstanding effort to excuse Obama's horrific record on civil liberties by blaming either others or the times. One successful myth is that there is an exception for citizens. The White House is saying that changes to the law made it unnecessary to veto the legislation. That spin is ridiculous. The changes were the inclusion of some meaningless rhetoric after key amendments protecting citizens were defeated. The provision merely states that nothing in the provisions could be construed to alter Americans' legal rights. Since the Senate clearly views citizens as not just subject to indefinite detention but even to execution without a trial, the change offers nothing but rhetoric to hide the harsh reality.

The Obama administration and Democratic members are in full spin mode – using language designed to obscure the authority given to the military. The exemption for American citizens from the mandatorydetention requirement (section 1032) is the screening language for the next section, 1031, which offers no exemption for American citizens from the authorisation to use the military to indefinitely detain people without charge or trial.

Obama could have refused to sign the bill and the Congress would have rushed to fund the troops. Instead, as confirmed by Senator Levin, the White House conducted a misinformation campaign to secure this power while portraying the president as some type of reluctant absolute ruler, or, as Obama maintains, a reluctant president with dictatorial powers.

Most Democratic members joined their Republican colleagues in voting for this un-American measure. Some Montana citizens are moving to force the removal of these members who, they insist, betrayed their oaths of office and their constituents. Most citizens, however, are continuing to treat the matter as a distraction from the holiday cheer.

For civil libertarians, the NDAA is our Mayan moment: 2012 is when the nation embraced authoritarian powers with little more than a pause between rounds of drinks.

A DREAM OF THE COMING DARKNESS

In the fall of 2004, I had a dream. It was so real and terrifying that I had to get up from my bed. The following is an account of the dream:

“I was visiting my birthplace, a small village in the beautiful Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia. I pulled my car off the road and parked in front of the old Methodist Church. I got out of the car to stretch my legs. The day was absolutely pristine and picture perfect. The sky was cloudless, the sun bright, and the air fresh and crystal clear. I was admiring the beautiful flowers growing in people’s yards. Many were busy working in their yards and gardens on such a gorgeous day. There was such peace and serenity.

I turned and looked toward the southeast. I was astonished at what I saw. A cloud of complete blackness was suddenly approaching the town. It completely blotted out all light and scenery where it advanced and covered. It approached the village limits, which was a river southeast of the community.

I made the comment, “Oh my God, the Darkness has come!” I sensed great evil and danger in it. I looked around to see if anyone else saw what I saw. To my amazement, people were oblivious to the approaching wall of darkness. They were still busy working in their yards and around their homes.

I made the statement, “They do not realize what it will be like when the darkness comes. All of the sun light, beauty of nature and peace will disappear when the darkness moves in. Everything in their lives will suddenly and drastically change.”

I jumped into my car as they approached. They slowed down as they reached my car and the leader yelled out, “Don’t you dare leave!” I locked my car doors as he approached and floored the gas pedal. My tires squealed as I fled. The motorcyclists pursued me and tried to force me off the road. I swerved into two and caused them to wreck. The rest pursued me for many miles and shot at me.

After some distance, I approached some men working on the road and asked for help or to make a call for me to the police. I started to get out of the car but heard a voice from above warning me to not to get out of the car but to drive on. Finally, I realized that I was running out of gas and stopped to refuel. I pulled up to a gas station and started refueling. The dream ended with me praying for God’s protection while I refueled.

I turned to get into my car to flee. All of a sudden, six motorcyclists drove out of the blackness and across the bridge into the town. I gasped, “The advance guard of the darkness has arrived!” These riders were on black motorcycles and dressed in black from head to toe.

The parts of the dream that stood out were:

1. The darkness suddenly came upon the land.

2. Before it came, all was serene, beautiful and peaceful.

3. No one saw it coming.

4. An advanced guard came into the community first on a reconnaissance mission.

5. The darkness then moved in and totally blotted out all light and beauty. People’s lives were drastically changed.

6. I fled for safety.

America is on the threshold of something cataclysmic that will radically change life, as we know it. A wall of darkness is about to suddenly fall upon this land.

John 14:13 tells us that the Holy Spirit will tell us of things to come. He warns us in advance to prepare us for what is ahead. When I awoke, I was trembling with fear. I got up to settle myself.

Hebrews 11:7

records, “…Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with Godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household….”

An advance guard of this darkness is already at work. People are living in a false sense of complacent security. I believe that the cup of iniquity is full in America and which will unleash divine judgment upon this nation. Something is about to shatter the hardness of this wicked nation’s heart.

God has revealed to me that a Great Awakening is about to burst forth upon the scene to gather and prepare His holy remnant for the darkness that will follow. This Awakening will give America one last chance to repent. Historically, Awakenings have preceded calamity.

May God’s people listen to the warning of the Holy Spirit and move with Godly fear to the saving of their households and neighborhoods. God desires for us to prepare an ark of safety to which people can flee for refuge when disaster comes. Let us listen and quickly move. Darkness is coming!

This coming year expect these 10 predictions.

1. Collapse of the manufacturing sector in the US.

2. Collapse of the housing market in the US over the winter.

3. Extreme job loss

4. Large churches losing their properties. (Unable to pay their debts due to huge job losses)

5. Extreme rioting in large cites and police using extreme force.

6. Human rights violations being taken to a new level by the government.

7. Another stock market crash by the end of 2012.

8. Suicide rates skyrocket as jobless lose hope and their homes.

9. The government will use extreme measures to make President Obama look good before the election so he gets re-elected.

10.  Catastrophes in the food supply.

Of course all of this could have been prevented by the simple act of repentance. Its would be easier to fly to the moon on a skateboard than to convince an American to repent of anything. I had someone recently accuse me of attacking the US with my prophecies. I was shocked when they said it. I thought it’s about the same as telling Abraham to stop speaking against Sodom and Gomorrah.

When I look at the US today all I see is the Titanic. Its New Years Eve and everyone is on the deck partying completely oblivious to the fact the ship is tilted and going down.

From the book by George Ritchie, entitled"Return from Tomorrow. (1978. Kingsway Publications.) "  In 1943 Ritchie was serving in the army as a young man, and at Christmas time he died of double lobar pneumonia. But nine minutes later, armed with an unforgettable experience of eternity, he returned from the dead. He had walked and talked with Jesus through a series of teaching experiences, some of which were terrifying, others enthralling. In 1978, as a practising psychiatrist, he finally, and somewhat reluctantly, put pen to paper to tell the world of his adventure during those nine minutes.╩ The following extract relates specifically to his experience in a bar, where he witnessed the opening of the sheath.

"Gradually I began to notice something else. All of the living people we were watching were surrounded by a faint luminous glow, almost like an electrical field over the surface of their bodies This luminosity moved as they moved, like a second skin made out of pale, scarcely visible light.

At first I thought it must be reflected brightness from the Person at my side. But the buildings we entered, gave off no reflection, neither did inanimate objects. And then I realized that the non-physical beings didn╒t either. My own unsolid body, I now saw, was without this glowing sheath.

At this point the Light drew me inside a dingy bar and grill near what looked like a large naval base. A crowd of people, many of them sailors, lined the bar three deep, while others jammed wooden booths along the wall. Though a few were drinking beer, most of them seemed to be belting whiskies as fast as the two perspiring bartenders could pour them.

Then I noticed a striking thing. A number of the men standing at the bar seemed unable to lift their drinks to their lips. Over and over I watched them clutch at their shot glasses, hands passing through the solid tumblers, through the heavy wooden counter top, through the very arms and bodies of the drinkers around them.

And these men, every one of them, lacked the aureole of light that surrounded the others.

Then, the cocoon of light must be a property of physical bodies only. The dead, we who had lost our solidness, had lost this "second skin" as well. And it was obvious that these living people, the light-surrounded ones, the ones actually drinking, talking, jostling each other, could neither see the desperately thirsty disembodied beings among them, nor feel their frantic pushing to get at those glasses. (Though it was also clear to me, watching, that the non-solid people could both see and hear each other. Furious quarrels were constantly breaking out among them over glasses that none could actually get to his lips.)

I thought I had seen heavy drinking at fraternity parties in╩Richmond╩but the way civilians and servicemen at this bar were going at it beat everything. I watched one young sailor rise unsteadily from a stool, take two or three steps, and sag heavily to the floor. Two of his buddies stooped down and started dragging him away from the crush.

But that was not what I was looking at. I was staring in amazement as the bright cocoon around the unconscious sailor simply opened up. It parted at the very crown of his head and began peeling away from his head, his shoulders. Instantly, quicker than I╒d ever seen anyone move, one of the insubstantial beings that had been standing near him at the bar was on top of him. He had been hovering like a thirsty shadow at the sailor╒s side, greedily following every swallow the young man made. Now he seemed to spring at him like a beast of prey.

In the next instant, to my utter mystification, the springing figure had vanished. It all happened even before the two men had dragged their unconscious load from under the feet of those at the bar. One minute I╒d distinctly seen two individuals; by the time they propped the sailor against the wall, there was only one.

Twice more, as I stared, stupefied, the identical scene was repeated. A man passed out, a crack swiftly opened in the aureole round him, one of the non-solid people vanished as he hurled himself at that opening, almost as if he had scrambled inside the other man.

Was that covering of light some kind of shield, then? Was it a protection against . . against disembodied beings like myself? Presumably these substance-less creatures had once had solid bodies, as I myself had had. Suppose that when they had been in these bodies they had developed a dependence on alcohol that went beyond the physical. That became mental. Spiritual, even. Then when they lost that body, except when they could briefly take possession of another one, they would be cut off . . . from the thing they could never stop craving."

The impact of this account will be left to my readers. In the next bulletin I'll take the study one step further, because Ritchie's experience was not the only case on record. There is no way in which the experiences Ritchie had could be attributed to hallucination (which dead people don't have) or the influence of drugs. Therefore the facts must be faced, and an understanding gained, rather than brushing the whole thing under the carpet because it doesn't fit some preconceived theology.

REBUKING THE PASTOR IN THE SILVER SUIT

Dream April 1998

Dreamt I was at some very large Church in the US. Some older guy in a grey suit was getting ready to preach some message. He seemed somewhat agitated. The church was dark and very posh. I saw 6 microphones on the stage. Suddenly a big flat screen TV dropped down from nowhere and a scene began to play out. I saw this same pastor in a room with other pastors all sitting around. The older one in the silver suit seemed to have leadership over the others. He then went over and abused his power over one of the younger interns and forced him to perform sexual acts with him. I counted how many were in the room and there were 13 in total. After, the Pastor in the grey suit was waiting to get up on stage and for the show to start (service). Suddenly I felt the anger of God burn against this sexual deviant and I got scared. I was drawn again to the microphones and counted them. There were six in total. I knew God wanted me to rebuke him but I had to wait for some reason.

Six months later I was compelled to go down to Virginia were I was invited to a local ministerial meeting in Lexington. A local pastor friend had invited me and again I felt compelled to go. We went into a large room and we all sat around in a circle. It seemed very familiar to me but I just ignored it and sat listening to the meeting. Someone arrived a few minutes late. It was the older man in the grey suit from my dream six months before. I was stunned when I saw him and began to count the occupants in the room. There were 13 just like my dream. My palms began to sweat and I dried them on my jeans. At the end of the meeting I spoke up. I didn’t want to center the guy out so I phrased my statement carefully. This is what I spoke “There is a man here who is a leader of a large assembly and is using his power to oppress and take advantage of pastors under him”! To my left I saw a young pastor crawl up into fetal position and I swear he almost started sucking his thumb. I recognized him from my dream as the one who was performing sexual acts on the corrupt minister. The guy in the grey suit started acting very nervously and was making a beeline for the door when I added “The Lord has sent me 500 miles this day to warn you. Unless you repent this is your last chance before His judgment falls”

You could have heard a pin drop in the place. No one was speaking and they were all just staring at me. I decided to break the ice a bit and spoke to my friend who brought me in his van. “Did you leave the van running I think I smell tar and feathers cooking up in the next room” Everyone chuckled nervously and we made our way out the door.

I thought we made it out first but someone several others were already outside and they actually wanted to meet me. I shook some shocked Baptist’s hands that day that I will never forget that meeting as long as they live.

I never heard what happened to that man in the silver suit but as the years went by I had many more such meetings and discovered that all of the ministers I rebuked died shortly after, usually not first without losing everything.  EJ Ouellette

MEETING MY BODYGUARD ANGEL from 2003 EJ Ouellette

I was getting ready to go to California and the night before I left I had this very vivid dream.

Dream June 2003

I dreamed I was driving my car and was somewhere in Nevada. In the seat beside me was a very large angel. He seemed big in the car but I didn’t realize how big until we stopped and we got out. We were near the Hoover dam and I was looking north. The top of his shoulders was a little higher than the top of my head. He was very muscular and had a stern face. He never looked at me but looked off in the distance. He spoke to me “I walked with Enoch when he was on the earth and I also walked with Sadhu Sundar Singh when he walked on the earth. When their time was finished here on earth I took them home and they never tasted death”.

I knew when he said that, that he meant he would be with me to protect me until my time was done and that he would also take me home without tasting death like Enoch and Elijah. God had told me in the past during prayer times and even through a friend before he died but this was the first time he confirmed it in a big way.

Later when I got back to Canada I knew why he sent this angel to encourage me. An unbelievable amount of persecution came to me forcing me to move away from my town.

DREAM OF AN ASTEROID HEADED TOWARDS EARTH sept2008 EJ Ouellette

I dreamt someone came and picked me up from earth and took me at a high rate of speed into space. I was flying at a phenomenal rate. I just kept looking back at earth, which was slowly disappearing in the darkness of space. I turned around as we started to slow down and stop. I saw a giant asteroid hurling towards earth. There was no tail just a giant looking rock slowly turning. It looked like a giant potato. It looked as if it was about 11/2 times as long as it was wide. We followed it along as it was hurling towards earth as it slowly turned like it was on some giant rotisserie, I could see earth n the distance and knew that it was headed straight towards earth, I though I might be able to redirect it so I kicked it with my foot but obviously it did not respond to my panic. As the earth closed it I could see it was going to fall into the Atlantic ocean somewhere just east of Virginia. I awoke at the point.

Later that day I decided to Google my revelation and low and behold there it was. There is indeed a giant asteroid headed toward earth. It is 11/2 miles long and a mile wide and the article said, it looks like a giant potato. If I recall its supposed to hit around the end of 2012. I was immediately reminded of the scripture in revelation.
