Dream 11-10-11
Dreamt I was at my childhood home in Richmond Hill. I was walking up the back way through the ravine at nighttime. The creek had dried up so I was walking on the riverbed. Suddenly (and I’m not sure how) It began to snow and I knew all the money stopped. I don’t know if the banks collapsed or suddenly the job market crashed to depression levels but I knew that most people suddenly had no money to live with. I somehow knew that I was unaffected. In front of me was a skunk so I decided to turn to my right and climb the ravine to get away from it. It looked me squarely in the eye and actually seemed friendly. We had a large enclosed patio in our backyard and for some reason I went in. In the dark I could see something move so I tried to see what it was. On the shelf in the dark corner was a 5ft Alligator. (There were shelves all over the patio in this dream but not in reality.) It moved its tail when it saw me but did nothing. I turned around to get away and almost kicked a baby ocelot playing on the ground in the dark. It scared me, as I knew its protective mother would be close by. Suddenly the mother ocelot appeared and the fence with another baby next to her but she was not aggressive in any way. In fact she almost seemed thankful to find the refuge. Again I turned back towards the alligator and noticed the whole patio was filled with wild animals in the dark. I didn’t know how I missed them but they were not afraid of me nor I of them. They seemed thankful for the refuge. Suddenly a large Raven flew in with two babies flying behind it and landed on my shoulder. At first it really freaked me out, but then I knew I was safe.
I awoke at this point and a scripture came to my mind. While I was looking it up I also saw that my patio was like Noahs Ark.
Daniel 4:9 I said, “Belteshazzar, chief of the magicians, I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in you, and no mystery is too difficult for you. Here is my dream; interpret it for me. 10 These are the visions I saw while lying in bed: I looked, and there before me stood a tree in the middle of the land. Its height was enormous.11 The tree grew large and strong and its top touched the sky; it was visible to the ends of the earth. 12 Its leaves were beautiful, its fruit abundant, and on it was food for all. Under it the wild animals found shelter, and the birds lived in its branches; from it every creature was fed.
